I have just did blog walking and found interesting characteristic on some Word press blogs I visited, they alter all words within post that coincide with post’s tags. I believe this were result of implementing plug in on their blog, but since my experience on hosting my own blog is just 1 month, so I don’t have  any clue on what kind of plug-in they have installed. Luckily, Wordpress has provide an integrate plug in manager that allow us to search all available plug in by specific keyword, get complete information about this plug-in and finally install it. Simple Tags was found on first page of searched plug in with keyword “Tags”, after did some exploration against its web site I then decide to install it.

Well, what could I say, this plug in is amaze me. This plug in has many options that we can play around with. Simple Tags does almost all “tag” related thing within our Wordpress post. Start with what I looking for as I mention above, Simple Tags hyperlink all word within post that coincide with post’s tag. could you imagine, many back link will automatically created.

Having a page in our Wordpress blog and would like to index them with tags, well Simple Tags have address this, so now, we can have more page with more capability. Simple tags also will allow us to create tag cloud on the fly, just by write <!--st_tag_cloud—> within our post. Getting confused to define suitable tags for our post, hohoho, Simple Tags know your problem and come to save your day with it’s suggested tags feature. Choose recommended tags from either local tag database, Yahoo!Term, Extraction API or Tag The Net service.

Another tuning for our SEO point of view also provided by Simple Tags, like auto add meta keyword, show related post that have same tag and manage tags cloud layout, but since I have used other plug in to do all of those task, so I won’t discuss it here, but so far, I find that Simple Tags is a nice to have plug in for our Wordpress blog.
