Blogwalking, is it important ?

Blogwalking is an activity to go thru other blogs. Blogwalking is important to extend our horizon on blogging knowledge and if we lucky enough to get new friend and traffic to our own web. Despite now we could have RSS reader or any news agregator but doing blogwalking manually can give a special satisfaction.

How to start a blogwalking ?
If we would like to do blogwalking, so from where we have to start ? how about our own blog Definitely someone ever visit our blog isn’t ? and they could drop some comment with their link, so why don’t we payback their visit and do the same, or how about from our own blogroll/link page.

“Hey … I am a newbie in this blog world, I have just create my blog but no post there, no comment and no link, I just want to tell anyone about my blog Url, how would I do that ?” hmmm … that’s scary, but luckily we can find lots of blog community on Internet, try to find similar blog that have same niche with ours, or even better if we use Wordpress or using Wordpress blogging service, we can go to their dashboard or simply go to Wordpress Tag Dashboard (http://www.wordpress.com/tag/xxx) change xxx with your tag/keyword, and you will get most favorite blog.

So we get something to start with … cool So, what to do next ???

What we should do during blogwalking ?
Well, because what we are going to visit is a blog, so do what a blogger want from their blog visitor, read their blog … LOL … review it, and make a comment if possible. Once we finish for one blog, go to other blog, now you can use other blog link or other blog comment to get another blog …. (hmmm to many “other” word in this sentence I think )

What are advantages from doing blogwalking ?
If blogwaking come without any advantages then why should we do this so here we go:

blogwalking will give us new knowledge from what we read/review from other blog
blogwalking will tell us what is the trend topic on blog word
if you visit a blog and write a comment, there is a chance blog owner will visit our blog, so it’s like a mutual relationship
if you visit a blog and write a comment, our link would be stored on another blog, you know what is that mean ? yes …. back link, and back link is primary nutrition for our page rank

So … start blogwalking and be optimist
