2009 07 16_14 59 39_0003_111a I have a Samsung I780 that I used normally for accessing my forex trading application which unfortunately only supported by Windows Mobile. Using Windows Mobile somewhat having advantages compare than when I use my BlackBerry, but sometime also give me some problem, like when I want to do chatting with non-Microsoft platform, like Yahoo! and GoogleTalk, having my BlackBerry also turn-on for chatting will also give me some problem, as then I will get so busy switching from one phone to another. So I searched for a Windows Mobile based software that able to give enhanced universal chat.

After some googling and reading review, I then stopped by a PPC software named BeeJiveIM. BeeJiveIM is a mobile universal messenger that allow us to connect to multiple IM accounts like Yahoo!, GTalk, Live, MySpace, AIM, ICQ, Jabber and other simultaneously via our mobile internet connection, it’s a good news for a mobile user with fixed data plan where messaging cost will be much more cheaper :) BeeJive initially designed for BlackBerry, then it also release its iPhone version and now they are trying their luck on Windows Mobile market. Both BB and iPhone version are commercially available for US$19.99 for BB and US$9.99 for iPhone, but free trial is downloadable if we would like to test it first. Luckily Windows Mobile version is still free, as this version still on Beta mode :)

2009 07 16_15 00 25_0005_111a Like other universal messaging software, BeeJive allow us to create multiple profile for storing our chat login information and retrieve friend/buddy information from that profile. What I like from BeeJive is its simple layout that allow us easily to manage our conversation because active conversation will be appeared as new group on top of other group, unfortunately, BeeJive don’t have buddy filter feature, that should be nice if BeeJive can provide on its next release. A nice graphical structure on conversation also another score for BeeJive.

So Windows Mobile users, download BeeJive, it worth to try
